St Martin's is currently in vacancy and being led by a loving lay team, however, although Sunday services continue - and we can arrange for a visiting Pastor to lead a wedding ceremony - we have no one to run a marriage course at this time.

What is PREPARE/ENRICH?

PREPARE/ENRICH is a customized couple assessment completed online that identifies a couple's strength and growth areas. It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and premarital education. It is also used for marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement. Based on a couple's assessment results, a trained facilitator provides 4-8 feedback sessions in which the facilitator helps the couple discuss and understand their results as they are taught proven relationship skills.

PRE-MARRIAGE COURSE COST*
The Prepare-Enrich™ course cost has been set by the Administration Team of our congregation and is subject to annual review.
Cost: $160 (includes 4 x 1 hour sessions with Facilitator) + $42 for online inventory payable to Prepare-Enrich Australia via Credit Card.
(Please pay by cheque at initial meeting, payable to 'St Martin's Lutheran Church Gladstone'.)
So, the total cost of your pre-marriage education course is $202 for 4 sessions, each running for a minimum of 1 hour.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: It is an expectation of the Lutheran Church of Australia, our Minister and the Administration Leadership Team of the congregation that all couples who are married by our Minister participate in a PREPARE/ENRICH pre-marriage course. Most people learn about marriage by watching marriages of parents, relatives and friends. Television and magazines provide another view of marriage, not aways a realistic one. At St Martin's Lutheran Church our Minister uses the leading relationship inventory and skill-based program use nationally and internationally. This course teaches attitudes and skills which enrich family life and enhance successful marriage. More important information for people planning to marry follow this link.
