What's next?
Our next Messy Church event will continue to be a joint effort between St Martin's Lutheran Church, St Savior's Anglican Church and Immanuel Fellowship.
This time around we'll be over at St Saviour's Anglican Church. Times are yet to be decided, but we will still run with the same formula of activities for an hour, followed by a musical celebration, Bible story, and finished off with a meal together. CONTACT
If you have any questions or are interested in getting involved as a volunteer with activities or help in the kitchen, or donate materials, now is a great time to get in touch with either Eve or Jenny:

What is Messy Church?A family service that begins with fun creative activities followed by a Bible story and singing, then finished up with a sit down meal. Yum!
Who is it for?The whole family! The idea is for parents to come with children and share in the creative 'messy' celebration. With that in mind, all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Where did Messy Church come from?
Messy Church isn’t a new random idea, it’s an established and successful formula. It began with an English initiative to help families connect to the church in a more relaxed, fun, and creative way. It also allowed families to discuss Bible topics in a friendly environment.

Messy Church Gladstone regularly makes up packets of soup mix to donate to the Salvation Army food bank. It's an act of giving we would like to continue, and for those who would like to supply ingredients or make up packets at home, below are the instructions:

There is a 'full' and 'half-measure' version, but we'll be doing the half-measure one at Messy Church. |
